Critical Thinking and Digital Learning

One of my favorite ways of learning through watching videos is to do coding experiments. My philosophy on video learning is to follow the directions of the instructor, but then deviate. Try other things to see what happens. I am always thinking, “What if…?” This general question “What if…?” is my favorite question because this is how I learn.

Creating projects using code (e,g,. HTML, JavaScript) requires critical thinking much like writing an essay. A thorough but flexible outline of the project or essay should first be developed and used as a guide. Planning is the key to success, and a good outline will make the plan much more likely to succeed.

I understand that whether I become an experimental psychologist, or a video instructor, or a writer, I will use critical thinking skills.
